The integration of the tracking code of Friendly Automate is necessary to enable you to track the actions of your contacts as well as your unknown visitors on your website.

If you are using WordPress, you can easily add the tracking code with a plugin. Here you can find a tutorial:

How to use the WordPress plugin to add the tracking code for Friendly Automate and use shortcodes

Otherwise you can manually embed the tracking code on your site to use Friendly Automate with any CMS.

To view the tracking code, please click on the cogwheel in the upper right corner, then on "Configuration" and then on "Tracking settings":

Now copy the code and embed it on every page of your website and landing pages - preferably directly before the closing </body> tag.

To verify if the tracking works, please click on "Contacts" and then on the right side of the button to see the "anonymous contacts". If the tracking works, you will see all visits to your website there live:

Done :)
